Meet The Team

President
Jeremiah Coleman
Jeremiah is a first year PhD student in the Electrical and Computer Engineering Department. He is working in the Houck Lab on fabricating novel junctions such as quantum phase slip wires to new protected superconducting qubits.

Treasurer
Sean Karg
Sean is a first year PhD student in the de Leon group, working on nanophotonic devices coupled to color centers in diamond for applications in quantum networks. He has also previously worked in quantum machine learning for identifying and characterizing novel phases of quantum matter.

Officer
Joy Zheng
Joy is a first year PhD student in the Electrical and Computer Engineering department. She currently works with Professor Jason Petta to develop scalable and reliable quantum computing systems using spin qubits in quantum dots. In the past, she has also worked with trapped ions and superconducting qubits. She is passionate about optimizing qubit control and measurement schemes.

Officer
Shashwat Kumar
Shashwat is a first year PhD student in the Electrical and Computer Engineering Department. He works on quantum computing with superconducting qubits in the Houck Lab. He is interested in novel qubit designs and intrinsically error-protected qubits.
